Let customers speak for us
Simple, effective, secure - does what it says on the pack! easy to install - once you've figured out aligning your wheel correctly over the threaded mount - this is a you problem not the product which is remarkably simple and easy to use. Double locks are a nice touch to improve the security and increase the difficulty in removal by a bad-actor! The locks use detainers rather than pins, which makes them much harder to pick, manipulate or drill. Having the primary lock deep inside the steel tube further enhances the difficulty and buys you time. In all probability, those bad people will just not bother!
Having heard stories about the chassis-mounted receiver getting clogged up, I used a rotary wire brush to clean ours and opted for an anti-sieze compound, which whilst being a great idea from an engineering standpoint, means that I inevitably ended up with the greasy compound on my hands! Fear-not as the supplied equipment bag is sufficiently sized to hold a pair of cloves, a small cloth and a poly bag for next time!
Thoroughly recomended and is not wheel-specific so when you upgrade you don't need to buy a new one!
The extra discount on my insurance covered the additional cost of the Diamond over the Gold version.
